Since its founding in 1985 in New York City, Metro Tech Consulting Services (MTCS) has participated in the improvement, development, planning and design of commuter railroads, rapid transit and light rail, and communication systems.

Metro Tech Consulting Services (MTCS) is a minority owned Small Business Enterprise and is certified as a DBE/MBE by most government agencies including the US Small Business Administration’s 8a Program, New York City, New York State, The Port Authority of NY&NJ, New Jersey Transit, NYS DOT, Connecticut DOT, Massachusetts Department of public Works, and the Metropolitan Transportation Authority (MTA), Metro North, NYCTA, LIRR, SEPTA and Bi-State Development Agency. Metro Tech is also certified by Amtrak to provide electrification engineering.

MTCS has provided comprehensive civil/structural, mechanical and electrical engineering and planning services to all levels of government and industry enterprises. The firm’s business has been concentrated in the northeastern United States with a major emphasis on transportation, infrastructure and heavy construction projects. A full-service engineering, planning and surveying firm provides services from a resource of over 20 experienced engineers, architects and technicians.

During the past 24 years we have come to realize that three fundamental needs of a successful project: a tailored project teams with directly related experience; prompt response to clients requests and solutions to their specific problems; and complete work which meets the clients schedule as well as the highest standards of our profession.
